Mr. Scott participated in 8 acquisitions, and worked on over $150 million in private and prospectus registered financing transactions.

- Represented SysGold Ltd. and its affiliates when such companies were acquired by FutureLink Distribution Corp. (later FutureLink Corp.)
- Represented FutureLink Corp. in its acquisitions of
MicroVisions Corp., Async Technologies, Inc., CN Networks, Inc., KNS
Holdings Limited (UK), Vertical Software, Inc., MicroLan Systems, Inc.
and Charon Systems Inc. - Developed “industry standard” service agreements for the new Application Service Provision market which has since evolved into “Cloud Computing” (of which FutureLink was a founding participant)
- Structured and negotiated strategic alliance agreement with Microsoft Corporation for the joint development of hosted software solutions
- Represented Jawz Technologies Inc. with respect to its disposition of various subsidiaries, including its Betach Solutions division (spin-off management buy-out) and its security practice (asset sale to GT Group Telecom)
- Represented Pangaea Systems Inc. in their acquisitions of Centient Solutions Inc., Interthink Consulting Incorporated and PreferSoft Inc., the latter by way of formal take-over bid
- Represented Pangaea Systems Inc. with respect to a bridge financing and its divestiture of its Interthink Consulting Incorporated subsidiary
- Assisted with Pangaea’s ultimate acquisition by CGI, and
- Assisted SecuSolutions with multiple private placement investments for expansion capital, both Convertible Notes and Common Shares, as well as the conversion of the Notes, and supporting SecuSolutions with contracting requirements, including software development contracts, assignments and licenses.
